The Reverend Tholomew Plague

The Rev is the drummer of Avenged Sevenfold. His real name is James Owen Sullivan. He’s one of the most greatest guys you could ever meet in my opinion. His stage name is The Reverend Tholomew Plague, but you can call him The Rev. He was born on February 9th, 1981 in Huntingon Beach, California and is 6 feet and 4 inches tall. His skills are drums, vocals, piano, guitar, and bass. Rev is one bad ass guy and you’ll see why.

When Jimmy was a kid, he attended a Catholic school with lead singer of A7X, M. Shadows, but got kicked out in the 2nd grade. Then he attened Huntington Beach High School which he got kicked out of again. He sometimes wore very brightly colored kimonos and tormented people. But when he wasn’t causing trouble or getting kicked out of school, he was teaching himself to play the drums which he became very good at. He was playing the double bass in 6th grade which is absolutely amazing. Jimmy said that he wanted to play the drums as naturally as possible so he joined a percussion ensemble at Harbour College L.A. At the age of 18, he recorded his first album with Avenged Sevenfold, and at the time was working on a side project with Synyster Gates, the lead guitarist of A7X. He use to live in a laundromat where he worked at during the day, and slept during the night. Then he lived in his car. But, his friend, Brian Haner, also known as Synyster Gates, made him live in his garage, and was and still is Jimmy’s best friend. He used to sing lead in a band called Pinkly Smooth instead of drumming, but still sometimes played the drums. He has been in jail 10 times and mostly arrested because of barfights
